24 weeks

Wow- 6 months!  I can hardly believe I am over half way there!  

Other fun news is that we are in our new house!!  While the backyard is far from being in top shape, we love it and cannot wait to spend tons of time out there.  

Also, I realized I was wearing the same outfit as my first round of prego pictures, so here is a little comparison then to now. :-)

Baby Dahl- pink or blue?

Wednesday before church last week, with our family and some friends gathered around, we found out more about our sweet baby!  Lindsay made an adorable cake.

Ali had people choose pink or blue beads to wear in honor of their thoughts on boy or girl.  I could barely stand the wait and then we cut into the cake.  I saw a tiny bit of what looked like blue.  I turned to Lindsay and asked, “Boy??”  I kept cutting and sure enough- blue!!  

We are having a boy!  I heard cheers and congratulations- so exciting!  Brandon turned to me and said, “We’re having a little boy!” and kissed me.  He soon posted on FB “I am having a son.”  Proud daddy-to-be.  

Our precious baby boy, we are so excited and cannot wait to meet you!!

20 weeks

16 weeks

I know, I know, black is a "slimming" color.  Trust me, objects are larger than they appear. :-)

Bonus Feature:  So Brandon decided to take full advantage of not working over the holidays and the goatee is the result.  It just so happened that the day of my 16 weeks of pregnancy was the 16th day of his goatee project.  Oh babe- you make me laugh!!  

I also must report that the goatee was harmed soon after the making of this photo and B is back to the clean shaven way that I prefer- LOL!!

12 weeks

We had our 2nd ultrasound last week- such an exciting experience.  The baby really looks like a baby!!  Almost everything is formed by this stage.  How anyone can think that babies this early on are not actual babies is beyond me!  What a miracle from God!!

8 Weeks

The baby bump has begun...

First comes love, then comes marriage…

Yep, then comes baby!

Brandon and I are so grateful that God blessed us once again!  We have both dreamed for years that we would not only meet the perfect person who would become our spouse, but also that we would have children.  Our dream is coming true!

On October 14, 2012, I took a pregnancy test and was ecstatic to see 2 pink lines!  Even better, it was our 6-month anniversary. (Aww!)  We are embarking on a new exciting journey in our lives!  Baby Dahl will make his or her appearance around June 23, 2013.
