Asher- 3 months old

On September 11 Asher turned 3 months old!

Here are some things Ash is up to.
Aug 27- on his 11 week birthday, Asher starting sleeping all night in his crib.  He is doing a great job!!

Aug 31- his first cold.  Poor guy!  On the flip side, his cradle cap is almost all cleared up. Yay!  

Sept 1- I developed horrible shoulder pain.  This has made it so I can’t pick Ash up and it’s very hard for me to hold him (even while sitting) for long periods of time.  I'll keep you posted on this crazy situation.

September 7- was in his crib for about an hour before falling asleep and didn't cry!! 

3 months

I can’t believe my little guy is 3 months!  The time really does fly by.  In honor of this day (I am sure it’s the reason) he slept for a record 10 hours last night!!  Way to go Monkey!!

Average bedtime:  8:30pm- he still doesn't seem to like to settle down much earlier.

While night sleeping is going very well, day sleeping is still more of a struggle.  He will sleep for 1 or 2 1-hour long stretches, but other “naps” are much less time.  One good thing is that no matter what time he wakes up in the morning- usually around 6am- he will go right back down for his morning nap and sleep for 3-4 hours.  Looking at the Baby Sleep Site and Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby book for sleeping and napping tips.

Amazon Moms- this has been a lifesaver!  We order 1 box of diapers each month and 1 box of wipes every 2 to 3 months. 

I have had to bring out the next size of clothes as Asher can now fit into some 3-6month stuff!!
Other than that, we continue to work on tummy time, sitting in the Bumbo, and he still likes when we listen to and dance to music.

Asher is such a joy and we can't imagine life without him!!

Tummy Time!!??

On Sept 6 we put Asher down for tummy time and he rolled on to his back!  So cute but he startled himself by doing it.  He rolled over numerous times after that as well, enjoying his new skill.  We finally got it on video after 5 or 6 rolls.
