Dahl House News: March 2014

On March 11th, Asher turned 9 months old!

Here are some things Ash is up to:

He’s in 12-month clothes!

Moved to size 4 nighttime diapers. (We had a lot of trouble with leaking until we moved up a size.)

Favorite toys- truck (Thanks Gpa!), monkey (Thanks Great Auntie Fay!), and still loves his jumpie!!

Favorite food- seems to be anything he can pick up and feed to himself.

Some "firsts":

Feb 15- first friend birthday party

Asher and Mama in the bounce house.

Auntie Belinda shared in the fun too!

Feb 17- first word;“Dada” Brandon was so proud!!

First diaper rash at 8 1/2 months.

First ear infection. He spent his 9-month bday at the doctor. He'd had a fever and upset tummy and was diagnosed with an ear infection.

Dates to remember:

Feb 22- fed himself peas

Feb 23- fed himself bananas

Feb 24- Finally rolling all the way over!! He’s been capable of this, just didn’t seem to want to roll 360 until recently. This first night he kept rolling himself onto his stomach while trying to fall asleep and then fuss. It was actually really funny to watch! He ended up sleeping on his tummy for half the night. The best tummy-time ever! Couldn't have forced him to do this before. Go figure!! Now he only sleeps on his tummy.

Feb 26- fed himself blueberries and Cheerios

March 1^-Asher started to say “Mama.” Yay!!

March 5- Cut tooth #3!

March 6- Tried chicken; after this I stopped keeping track. The kid seems to love food and we try all sorts of new things almost each day. :-)
