I can't believe July 4th has come and gone! I feel like I am in such a fog lately due to lack of sleep; I blink and time races by. So I made a serious effort not to miss out on our 4th family fun- it was Asher's first, after all!
This year we opted to stay home and had Jen and the kids over. (Ryan was very missed as he was/is out of state helping to fight a wildfire.)
Uncle B took the girls swimming- a highlight in their day. I meant to get out there for a while, but ended up feeding baby. So glad Auntie Jen got a shot of the fun!
No firework watching, lame I realize. Yet I know this would have been challenging with a 3 week old.
To round out our fun, on Saturday we made our annual trip to Prescott for the town parade. (This was Asher's biggest adventure yet!!)
We spent most of our time on the grassy area in the town square. It's a great place for the kiddos to run around, or in Asher and Nolan's case, to explore our blanket area. :-)
We made our way to the Prescott Brewery for lunch (another tradition) and the adults enjoyed the chicken pot pie. (It is seriously amazing!)
Then back to the grass for more playtime.
And a little relaxing.
So happy to have family time!!
When we were all tired out, we loaded up to head home.
Hope you all had a great 4th!!
