While Asher has been a very vocal child, he has chosen to wait to use most words until 18 months. Dada was his first word months ago, yet now he uses it (mostly) in context.
Mainly so I can remember, here are the words we hear from him the most:
Dada
Mama
Memaw
Ball
Uh-oh
Hi
Bye bye
Help
More
Hi
Bye bye
Help
More
Cheese
Water
Choo-choo
Hot
Hat
Baby
Baby
Ninny- our Elf
Boom- mainly accompanied by giving knucklesBat-ba- our Roomba vacuum
A couple of common phrases we are currently trying to decipher:
"Hey B" or sometimes "Hey Baby" if we say the word baby. We can't figure out what he's referring to as he often says it when he's proud of himself. I first thought it was "how big", as in "how big are you Asher!" We're still not sure.
"Ha-Bum"- yes, he seems to like the H and B sounds. Again, not a clue what this one means either.

Can't wait for what we'll hear next!!
